Corvallis for Refugees is dedicated to helping individuals and families displaced by war, persecution, or violence restart their lives in safety and dignity. They offer services like housing, employment support, cultural orientation, and financial assistance to empower refugees to thrive in their new community. Our church is honored to house their main office and partner in their efforts!
This month, they will be welcoming 50-60 new people!
As a church family, we are helping with their restart packages! Restart packages are vital to welcoming displaced families into our community, equipping them with essentials like furniture, kitchen supplies, and more to begin their new lives.
How to Help with Restart Kits
- Purchase new items to honor and reflect the dignity of refugees.
- Assemble a complete kit using a clear plastic tub with a lid, labeled with the kit name.
- Include a handwritten, unsealed note welcoming the family.
- Secure larger items to the tub if they don’t fit inside.
- Drop off kits at the CFR office or in the carport if the office is closed.
