Pastor Josh Carstensen is continuing a series on First John.

When Zechariah wrote about the king coming to Jerusalem while riding on a donkey, the people got excited about Jesus because they thought he would set them free from Rome's oppression. However, Jesus' fight wasn't against Rome; it was against Satan. And the good news is that Jesus won! And he invites us to fight with him against darkness.

After the message, think about how you can bring hope and light to people around you. Commit to one thing you can do this week to love and encourage someone.
