Lead Pastor Josh Carstensen continues a series on the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus starts the Sermon on the Mount by saying, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." In this seemingly simple statement, Jesus challenges us to rethink what it means to be blessed. It's not just about feeling blessed with our abundance or when we receive help. There's a third type of blessing that's extremely counter to today's culture, which Josh shares.
