Pastor Josh Carstensen continues a series called "What Is Going On?" where we read the entire Bible in a year. The book of Nehemiah concludes the narrative of the Old Testament, but it ends in tragedy. After completing the wall and reading God's word as a whole assembly, the people make six promises to God. But when Nehemiah returns five years later, he finds they failed on 5 of them. Then silence for 400 years. It's a bit of a cliffhanger, but it's worth pausing on for a bit.
