Lead Pastor Josh Carstensen starts a series called 'What Is Going On?' where we read the entire Bible in a year. Genesis is about beginnings and formation. Specifically, it describes Creation, our separation from God, God's plan to make things new, human families and their issues, God's Covenant, and the nation of Israel. It's not a happy beginning, but throughout the book, God reminds us that he knew what he was doing.
