Some of Jesus' final words here on earth were to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
Here at NWH, we want to be a people who are committed to GOING whether it is to the other side of the world or here in the USA. We also desire to be a people who support those of our church who have answered the call to GO. Below read about people at NWH who are GOING. Each of these individuals are committing to serving God through a short term trip or project.
Also check out our Global Outreach partners who are serving in long-term capacities!
Diane Clark | Ukraine
(July - August 2025)
Feeling called to make a difference in Ukraine? Diane Clark is inviting two people to join her for a life-changing mission trip in 2025. Together, you will partner with the Chernihiv Lifesong team to run VBS-style camps and other ministry programs, reaching children, teens, and families for Christ.
In this unique opportunity, you’ll stay with the Lifesong team, sharing life and ministry with the kids in camps and teen transition homes. In a country where evangelical ministry is just starting to grow, we have a chance to bring the love and hope of Christ to a place where many generations have never known Him. By impacting children, we’re reaching families and communities across Ukraine.
If you’re interested in learning more about this trip, please contact Diane Clark at cardiincal@gmail.com or visit Lifesong for Orphans online (under "Where We Serve," select "Ukraine"). Preparing together is important, so Diane would love to connect in advance. Act soon—spots are limited, and early preparations are essential!
Ways to pray for Diane//this trip:
- Please pray that more Americans will feel called to join in ministry in Ukraine, experiencing the same joy of service I have. I've been blessed to work in Ukrainian ministries for 24 years, and it’s my hope to share these meaningful opportunities with others who are led to serve.
Laura Baker | Sierra Leone
(2023- 2024)
During this next year, I will be working as a project manager for Willamette International, serving in Sierra Leone. I'll be leading a new project called Willamette Aquaculture. My job is to construct and run a fish farm to produce fish for both Willamette International's orphanages. I will also train workers to be managers for future fish farms by the end of the year.
The vision for this ministry is for fish farms to be self-supporting businesses owned by local churches. Willamette International will assist in setting up fish farms so that the income can be used for future self-supporting church planting ministries.
