What if we lived in a world where transparent honesty was always the norm? What if everyone kept their promises and you never had your trust betrayed? What if you never fudged the truth to make yourself look good or to escape accountability?

That's what the kingdom of Heaven looks like, but we're currently living far from it. So, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus shows us what it looks like to live and speak truthfully consistently and depend on Jesus because we're not as righteous as we think.
