Directions and Parking
We are located at 3300 NW Walnut Blvd, Corvallis OR
When you get here, there are lots of parking spaces available! Aside from handicap and elderly parking near the front and side of the building, all parking spaces are available and free to park in!
You may even be greeted by some of our youth students holding signs at the front of our campus!
Arrival
People start arriving anywhere from 15 minutes before service to a few minutes after it starts (especially families with young kids — we get it!).
If it’s your first time, we recommend coming about 10 minutes early. This gives you time to meet some of our amazing volunteers who would love to show you around and help you feel at home.
When you arrive, head into our courtyard where friendly greeters will be there to say hello!
Be sure to swing by our beverage station (on the right side of the courtyard) for free coffee, tea, or hot chocolate before heading into the auditorium.
If you’re new or visiting, we’d love to connect with you! Just chat with a greeter at the lobby entrance or stop by our Connect Desk — we're here to answer any questions and help you get settled.
We can’t wait to meet you!!

Music: Around 20 minutes of live music, blending traditional hymns with modern worship songs.
Next Steps: A brief time to share opportunities to get involved and stay connected.
Message: A 30-minute sermon, typically done by one of our pastors, focused on exploring the Bible with intention and learning how it applies to our lives today.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Did They Just Say? Church Words: Explained
New to church? Or maybe you've been around for a while but still hear some words that make you think, Wait... what does that mean?
No worries — we've got you covered! Here's a simple guide to help explain some of those "churchy" terms that might sound a little unfamiliar.
-
"Amen" means "so be it" or "truly"—it’s a way of agreeing with something, especially in prayer. When people say "Amen" at the end of a prayer (or sometimes during the teaching), they’re saying, "I believe this," or "Let it be done."
-
Worship is showing love and respect to God. It’s more than just singing—it’s any way we honor Him, like praying, serving others, or living in a way that pleases Him. Worship is about putting God first and recognizing who He is.
-
Repentance means turning away from wrong choices and turning toward God. It’s more than just feeling sorry—it’s a change of heart and direction. It means recognizing our mistakes, asking God for forgiveness, and choosing to live differently with His help.
-
"Born again" means starting a new life with God.
It’s not a physical birth but a spiritual one—when someone chooses to trust in Jesus, their heart and life are changed. It’s about leaving behind an old way of living and beginning a new life with God, full of His love, forgiveness, and guidance..
-
Baptism is a public act of showing that you’ve made the decision to follow Jesus. It involves being immersed in water as a symbol of dying to your old life and being raised to a new life in Christ. It’s a way of expressing faith, obedience to Jesus, and joining the Christian community.

-
Communion is a practice where we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. It involves eating bread and drinking juice as symbols of Jesus’ body and blood, given for us. It’s a way of connecting with Jesus, reflecting on His love and forgiveness, and sharing in the unity of the church.
At NWH, we take communion about every 6-7 weeks with crackers and juice. This act is open to anyone who has trusted in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
-
Salvation is God rescuing us from sin and giving us eternal life with Him. It happens when we trust in Jesus, believing He died and rose again to forgive our sins. It’s a free gift, not something we earn—just God’s love and grace.
Sanctification is the process of becoming more like Jesus. After salvation, God works in our hearts to change us, helping us grow in faith and live the way He designed us to. It’s a lifelong journey of learning, growing, and becoming more like Him.
-
God’s glory is the greatness, beauty, and holiness of who God is. It’s the visible display of His power, goodness, and love. When we talk about giving God glory, it means acknowledging His worth and honoring Him for who He is—recognizing that He is above all things and deserves our praise.
We believe God's glory is something we experience, honor, and reflect back to Him in worship and how we live our lives.
-
Community Groups are small groups of people who get together regularly to hang out, have real conversations about life and faith, and support each other. It’s one of the best ways to make friends and feel connected here at Northwest Hills!

Another name for the Bible is the Word of God. The Bible is a book that tells the story of God and His relationship with people.
It’s made up of two main parts: the Old Testament, which includes history, laws, and prophecies before Jesus, and the New Testament, which focuses on Jesus’ life, teachings, and the early Christian church.
We fully believe it’s God’s message to the world, showing His love, truth, and plan for us!
Don’t have a bible of your own? You can grab one for free in any of the seat baskets on a Sunday morning!
