WORSHIP MINISTRY TRACK
WHO IS THIS INTERNSHIP TRACK FOR?
As a potential Worship Intern at NWH, one must meet the following qualifications:
Loves and follows Jesus
Talented and growing in musical ability or tech skills
Desire to learn, dream, serve, lead, and grow musically and spiritually
Able to work well both independently and as a team player
(A candidate also must meet the basic qualifications of a NWH Intern, listed at the bottom of this page.)
What does it look like?
Key Job Responsibilities:
Weekly music practice
Actively participate in Sunday mornings (usually serving on stage or in A/V)
Planning and prepping of Sunday elements, including stage/Propresenter/Multitrack prep
Assisting with creative elements of band, vocals, A/V, and stage design
Participate in youth ministry music (as needed)

Meet Justin Jackson!
BIO: An Oregon native, Justin (or JJ depending on who you ask) grew up in Portland, Oregon, met his wife Wyndser at a college worship night while attending Oregon State University, and their family has recently grown with the birth of their son August. Though Justin loves reading, hiking, paddle boarding, and a myriad of other classic PNW hobbies, music/worship has always been his greatest passion. He has a love for music and is just as comfortable leading a congregation of worshipers as he is performing with his band at various locales around Corvallis. Having the opportunity to serve God and his people through music and worship at Northwest Hills is a dream come true for Justin, and he has a deep desire that others would be encouraged to develop their gifts to be used for the kingdom too.
As a worship intern, you will get to work closely with Justin. From weekly meetings and trainings to develop you as a musician and leader, to music practices and real-life experiences, you’ll get to see first-hand what it looks like to lead Worship Ministry under his leadership!
